Haley Crone studied art history at the University of Oregon. She specialized in Nineteenth-Century French art, and has been drawn to Manet’s world of clashing socio-political ideals ever since. Like Manet, Haley is both rebellious and rational. A dreamer from the start, she continues to search for the life she was meant for. Never willing to settle for anything but core-shaking happiness. With this determination, the opportunity to participate in the 29 Palms project presented itself. The desert and the passion of Schneider’s work has awakened Haley to new possibilities; inspiring her to continue looking for (thus far elusive) fulfillment. This experience calls to her and says: “just a little further.”
